Pumplife Tie Downs

The Pumplife concepts tie down points are made of 6061-t6 aluminum. They are CNC machined and made in the USA.

How they work:

• The tie down bolts to the transom of the boat via 2x 1/4-20 flat head screws
• A 1/2″ shank stainless steel shoulder screw is threaded into the 3/8-24 hole in the tie down
• The boat is strapped down to the trailer (lightly) to avoid bouncing off the trailer from the shoulder screw to the trailer.
• Do not make the straps tight! This is merely to keep the boat seated on the bunks, not to put preload on the boat. The strap should have ‾1/2″ play back and forth when tight.
• These are not for lifting and are not rated for anything besides keeping the boat from bouncing on the trailer.
